CompuWyse PC is a Sole-Proprietorship, Home-based business located in Batavia NY, in the heart of Genesee County. CompuWyse PC is owned and operated by Michael K. Wyse

I provide services and support for the following counties of Western NY:

• Genesee
• Livingston
• Orleans
• Wyoming

I have an A.A.S. degree in Computer Systems and Networking Technologies, as well as a Certificate in Computer Repair.  These studies included courses in Windows XP and Server 2003 Operating Systems, as well as all 4 levels of the Cisco CCNA network courses, and introductory courses in programming, scripting, and website design. In addition, I continue to keep abreast of the latest technology changes through membership in several technical forums, internet research, and BETA testing of upcoming software releases. 

I have also worked as a Computer Technician for a local computer sales and service store for 2 years, and been involved in providing computer related services to customers of my own for over 5 years.

These situations have enabled me to become familiar with Operating Systems from Windows 95 up to Server 2008, Windows Office products, Enterprise level security suites and backup solutions, desktop and network administration, both locally and through remote connections, assembly, installation, configuration, and repair of desktops and servers, as well as a wide variety of troubleshooting situations.

I have been involved in Server migration projects, workstation deployment in domain environments, network printer setups, and an infinite array of home user services.

While earning my degree, I also enrolled in several business classes, including:

• Principles of Business
• Principles of Retail Management
• Project Management

I am currently enrolled in an additional business related course, and registered for a follow-up course in the Spring of 2009. I plan to continue pursuing further education in both business and technology areas whenever possible.
